"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to apply a mineral makeup. When you apply your foundation you want to make sure that you are using the correct amount. You don't want to apply too much of a mineral makeup. If you do it will have more of a tendency to look a little heavy or cakey on the skin. So, when you open up your container you want to take your lid, I'm actually going to wipe out any residue that is left on the inside there. A really great tip if you are working with a loose mineral is usually when you purchase it there is going to be a white paper seal in there that's on top of the holes. If you leave that on and poke out a few of the holes it tends to be a little less messy especially if you travel with it. We unfortunately have already taken our seal off so we are just going to take a little applicator. We're going to scoop out a little bit of our mineral, we're going to put it in the lid. But that is about all you want for one application, just a small amount. This is a product that a lot of people tend to over use. When you do over use it you won't get the nice natural look that you want. You also want to make sure that you are working out of your lid with a mineral makeup because obviously if you dip your brush right into the container you're going to end up with a lot more on there than you want. So, if you just put just a tiny amount in your lid this will ensure that you'll have a nice smooth, natural look and it won't look cakey."
