Applying Moisturizer Before Mineral Makeup

"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to apply a mineral makeup. First we're going to start with applying a moisturizer. We want to prep the skin to apply the makeup so we want to make sure that we have the skin nice and hydrated. We want to make sure that we're getting rid of any surface leaks of dead or dry skin. This gives us a really nice smooth palette to work with. I'm also going to apply a little bit of eye cream to her under eye area. I'm just going to take a little bit on a ring finger and pat it around the orbital bone. This will give a nice smooth eye area for us to work with so we don't have to worry about our concealer settling in any fine lines or wrinkles. So when you apply a moisturizer and eye cream it gives you a really nice smooth palette to work on so your makeup will look a lot better because your makeup will only look as good as your skin underneath."
