Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you how to apply a mineral makeup. A mineral makeup is an all natural makeup. It is made from one hundred percent pure crushed minerals. It doesn't have any talc in it, any chemicals, preservatives, waxes, dyes or anything like that. So, it is a lot different from a regular makeup because it will actually work with your skin and it has a lot of healing properties. So if you are somebody that tends to get a lot of clogged pores or is a little more acne prone it is really healthy for your skin. It is oil free, it's not going to clog your pores. Somebody with rosacea it is also good for. Anybody with rosacea or really sensitive skin. Because it is a mineral and it's a hundred percent natural it actually will bind with your skin so when you apply it it actually warms with your body temperature and mixes with the natural oils in your skin. So it becomes one with your skin instead of laying heavy on top of the skin like other makeups do such as a liquid or a talc powder foundation. Mineral, you can get it in a couple of different forms. It will come in loose or it can come in a pressed. We are going to be working with a loose mineral makeup today. Either way they are both completely natural, they give you about the same finish."
