How to Apply Lip Gloss: Quick Makeup Tips

"Hi, I'm Kate Shepherd on behalf of Expert Village and today we're gonna be talking about makeup on the go. And our last step is a real natural lip gloss. So what I'm gonna be using with this today is a lip brush. These are really really great for on the go especially because you can find a lot of lip brushes that have a cap on the end so you don't have to worry about the bristles getting all fraid. So what I'm gonna do with this gloss and this is what you want to do with any gloss that you apply. Is you want to start from the middle of the lip and work the color to the outer edges. And you can use the one that actually comes with the lip gloss. You don't have to use the lip brush if you want to, but I find that the application is a little bit better with the lip brush. So you can see I'm not using very much on Sherri, she doesn't need a ton. But it gives her that really soft color and this gloss is a bit more tacky, so as long as she doesn't rub her lips too much it ends up staying on for quiet a while through out the day. And there's a great trick for lip gloss and lip stick in general is to not rub your lips like I had said and her lip stick, her lip gloss will probably stay on for the next couple of hours."
