How to Apply Base Eye shadow: Quick Makeup Tips

"Hi, I'm Kate Shepherd on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to be talking about makeup on the go. Next we are going to be using a base shade for Sherri. I'm gonna be using that soft ponytail brush that I was talking about before. Go ahead and close your eyes Sherri. What you want to do with this is I'm gonna go apply the shadow on the side of this brush. Since this brush is so flenzy and loose it's gonna disperse this color really evenly. So you want to start from the base of the eye and blend it all the way up to her brow bone. Cause this can actually work as a highlighter as well. So you just want to dust it on. You could be really liberal about blending it on to the eye. And you can definitely apply more if you want more of a shimmer. This shadow is so smooth it glides on so easily that it's gonna blend in any other shadow that you apply to it as well. Turn towards me and we're gonna start with the other eye here. You can see how it eliminates her eye lid, it's real beautiful to finish that up and there you go."
