How to Apply Foundation for Day Makeup

"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you tips to a basic daytime makeup look. So we are going to start by applying a little bit of a liquid foundation. This is a really nice lightweight, oil free, liquid foundation. We are going to use our foundation brush. We're just going to take a little bit of this first and we're going to make sure it matches her skin so we're just going to do a stripe from cheek to jaw and your makeup should completely disappear, leave no line or demarcation, which this one does. You shouldn't have to work hard to blend your makeup. So we are going to use a brush to apply this all over. I prefer using a brush versus fingers or a sponge. You get a much softer look, more natural look, get better coverage, you actually end up using less makeup. Sponges tend to absorb your makeup so it causes a lot of waste. You can see when you have the right color by how natural it looks, just evened out her skin tone, gives her a nice healthy glow but it doesn't look like she tried too hard. Doesn't look like she has too much makeup on and she has a mask on, just looks really nice and natural."
