"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to choose a red lipstick. So now that we have exfoliated her lips we're going to apply a lip treatment to her lip area. We want to make sure that we really prep the lips nicely before we apply the lipstick. So what we are going to use is a really nice hydrating lip treatment. It's going to smooth out the texture of the lips, it's also going to help smooth out and fill in the appearance of any fine lines on and around the lip area. It will gently plump the lip. This particular lip treatment infuses a little bit of collagen into the lip area which will gently plump without irritation and it will help create a more defined lip line. Since we've exfoliated you can see our lip treatment absorbs rather quickly. If you don't exfoliate the lip and you apply a lip treatment you are not really getting the full benefits out of your lip treatment because your lip treatment is not able to penetrate through any surface dead skin that might be sitting on the lip area. So by exfoliating you are really allowing your lip treatment to penetrate the full way and work the best for you."
