Video Transcript

"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to use eyeliner to define your eyes. Now I'm going to show you a technique you can use to measure the width of your eyes so you can figure out whether your eyes are a little bit closer together or they're a little farther apart or if you have a balanced eye. So, if you take just a regular cotton swab, I'm going to measure her eye from the inner corner to the outer corner and I'm going to bend my cotton swab like this. So, this is the length of her eye. I should be able to fit one eye in between the two eyes. That would be if you had a balanced, proportioned shape to the eyes. Hers are a little bit close set, they are a little bit close together because you can fit less than a whole cotton, or a whole eye right there in the middle. So, now somebody who had eyes that were a little bit further apart you would be able to fit more than the shape of one eye in the middle. And if somebody had a completely balanced set of eyes, this would be directly right on one eye in the middle but hers are just a little bit close set."
