How to Apply Eyeshadow as an Eyeliner

"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to use eyeliner to define your eyes. Now I'm going to show you how to apply a shadow or a cake liner. I'm going to use this dark brown shade here. For my shadow liners I prefer to use a stiffer angled brush like this. So I'm just going to tap my brush in my shadow, tap off any excess, and I'm going to start from the outer corner working my way in with light feathery strokes and connect them. And see, that's just a really nice soft look a shadow liner will give you. It's good for daytime wear if you don't want anything too dramatic but you still want a little bit of definition. And then we're just going to get right up in there under the lower lashes, do a little side to side motion, get that color right in there under the lower lash line. It's a really nice soft natural look."
