"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to use eyeliner to define your eyes. Now we are going to show you how to apply a liner pencil. So, we chose a deep brown for her. The first thing you want to make sure is that our point is nice and sharp, if not, grab a pencil sharpener. You want to make sure, too, when you buy, especially a sharpening liner pencil that you are purchasing a sharpener within the same brand because most pencil sharpeners are made brand specific to fit that particular liner pencil. If you buy one that's not brand specific it will probably end up chewing up your pencil and you'll be left with nothing. So, when we apply the liner, close for me, we're going to start on the outer corner and we're just going to get as close to the lashes as we can. You notice I'm not trying to draw a one continuous line. I'm doing it kind of in short feathery strokes. This will make it look a lot more natural and make the line look a lot smoother, a lot more connected. You can see it's a really nice thin line. It doesn't look like she has a lot of eyeliner on. You want to avoid making your eyeliner too thick. That will do nothing but close off the appearance of the eye. And, if you will look up for me. So we apply it underneath, we're going to get right up under those lower lashes. Again, I'm kind of just doing a short feathery stroke connecting the lines as I go, not trying to draw one continuous line. And that is a really nice thin line under there as well so that just really defines the eye and sets it off."
