"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to teach you how to properly care for your skin today. First thing you want to do when you are taking care of your skin is you want to determine what skin type you are. And a good way to do that is when you wake up in the morning you want to be able to see how your skin feels. If your skin feels more on the oily side first thing in the morning that probably means you have more of normal to oily skin. If your skin feels tight and uncomfortable, almost like it's a size too small for your face, you're probably more of a normal to dry. If it feels pretty comfortable you may be more of a combination. A good way to judge that is if you tend to be a little more oily in the T-zone, which is the forehead, nose and chin area and a little bit drier in the cheeks then you're more of a combination skin. If you feel pretty comfortable all over. You never notice that you're too dry or too oily in any particular place you're probably more of a normal to oily skin. And, if your skin feels a little bit dry or a little bit tight you're probably more of a normal to dry skin. Another differentiation I want to say is if you have a lot of flakiness that's not necessarily dry skin it's probably more of a dehydrated skin and then you would want to make sure you're treating that with the proper products."
