"Now that the lip liner is on and covering the whole lip, you want to take your dark lipstick and apply it right over the top. I'm using a dark matte color. You really don't want to use anything that's too shiny or glittery. Again, that's up to you. I'm using a dark matte lipstick. If you wanted to do a little shine, you could do that as well. It's completely personal preference. You want to blend really, really well. This is a dark, dark lipstick, so you really want to blend well. It can look kind of crazy if it's not blended in nicely. You don't want to see a lip line. That's why you match the liner to the lipstick. That's not the look we're going for. You want everything to match. If you make a little mistake, you can just go right in and clean up. Again, you want hard lines. You want it to look like you purposely drew this lip in. Take your foundation brush, take your q-tip. You can clean up and make the lip look perfect. Now, if you do want to add a little bit of gloss, that's all your personal preference. You can take a little bit of deep dark gloss and you can do that as well. If you feel like it's too matte and you need a little bit of a shine, just put a little bit of dark gloss right on top. There you go."
