"Okay so now we are ready to begin we are going to start out with skin prep. And you want to make sure your face is completely clean. You want to start out with a fresh clean palate and you want to use a really nice moisturizer. Again you can use a moisturizer that has kind of a glowy effect or iridescence to it. Cause that's the kind skin look we are going for. That glowy dewy look. If you have really dry skin that's fantastic. If you have really oily skin and your face is naturally glowy or dewy then you can use a more matifiying moisturizer. But nothing too matifiying. You don't want to look oily or glossy but you want to have that naturally fresh clean kind of sun kissed skin look and you want to just go all over the face. Especially around the eye area. Not on top of the eye area but around the eye area. And then down the neck. Don't forget the neck. That is something a lot of people forget when they moisturize but that is a very important part of your face and your head is your neck. Then I always like to do a little bit of an extra eye cream especially when you are using a lot of makeup and you are going to be out and about all day or night. You want just some extra protection around your eyes. It just makes your makeup go on so much smoother. So a little bit of an eye cream around your eye area. I love fast response eye cream from MAC. I think it is great. It just kind of plumps up your eye area. It prevents the powder from getting into your creases. And again not on top of the eyes just around the eye area and very gently. Gently kind of moisturize it around the eye area. Now when you are at home you can use, if you are doing this on yourself you can use your fingertips. Just make sure your hands are clean. Use your ring finger. It is the weakest finger and just go right around your eye area with your eye cream. And then lastly lip conditioner. Especially in the winter months you want to make sure you use a nice emollient lip conditioner. I like to put the lip conditioner on right away because normally the lips are the last thing that you get to so once your makeup is done and you get to your lips that lip conditioner will be all soaked in and your lips will be nice and plum and subtle and ready for you to put some lip gloss or lipstick on. Perfect, okay and now we are ready to start with foundation. "
