"Before we start this look, we're going to be using a lot of makeup to get this Carmen Electra look, so you want to make sure that your skin is nice and cleansed, completely clean and free of anything else. You also want to make sure that you've moisturized and you've used eye cream and lip conditioner. Your makeup is just going to go on so much smoother and nicer if you're nice and moisturized. You want to take a good moisturizer depending on your skin tone. Oil-free if you're oily. A more creamy moisturizer if you're dry. You just want to put that all over the face. You really just want to blend it all over. You can use your fingers. Just make sure your hands are clean. You don't have to use a brush if it's your own skin. Just all over the face. Kind of apply a light moisturizer, or if you're dry, a little bit of a heavier moisturizer. If you're really oily, you want something that's more matifying so that you're not shiny. Take it down the neck. Don't forget the neck. The neck is also a very important part of your face and your body, and you want to take care of that skin as well. Any places that are extremely dry, you really want to focus on. I love using an eye cream. I think it's very important to use a nice eye cream around the eye area. Not on top of the eye, but just around the eye area. Just really massage it gently around the eye area. The skin around your eye is very sensitive. Eye cream will just kind of plump up your eye. If you're using a lot of powders, it helps the powders go on smoother so that you don't look wrinkly and creasy. Then lastly, you want to put on a lip conditioner. I believe highly in lip conditioner because when you're using a lot of glosses, especially in the winter months, your lips can get cracked and peely. That just looks awful, so you want to make sure you put on a lip conditioner. Put it on before you start doing your makeup so that once you get to the lips, which is usually the last step, your lip moisturizer will be also dense and nice and plump. Now we're ready to start on the foundation."
