"Today I'm going to show you how I can curl my hair in ringlets. You want to try not to leave any hair sticking out of the curling iron, but at the same time if you take too much of it in then it won't hold tightly so just have maybe a centimeter or less hanging out of the curling iron, that way it still curls but you don't have that crimped edge on the end of your hair. You want to try to just bounce the curls and not try to break them up from their ringlets until the end. You can even do smaller pieces. And then I've just kind of adapted my own technique, it's basically whatever works best for your hair type. Some people use curlers."
