Caring for Makeup Brushes

"Alright, so now I'm going to show you how to properly clean some of your brushes. Your eyeshadow brushes and powder brushes you don't need to clean as often, but you want to clean your foundation, concealer and eyeliner brushes pretty much every time you use them. So I'm going to give you some tips on that. So you don't necessarily have to do them all one at a time at first. But what you want to do is just rinse them in some lukewarm water, run your fingers over them and get all the excess makeup out. You can see it coming out on my fingers here, especially out of the foundation brush because that tends to absorb a lot of liquid. But you just kind of want to push out, rinse them all pretty well. And then I just use a mild cleansing shampoo, rub it around in your fingers a little bit and work it over the bristols. Again, pushing out. And keep running them under water until the water runs clear. When you're done washing them, you just want to kind of mold them back into the shape and then you can lay them out on your counter or on a towel until they dry. It's that easy guys.
