"Hi! This is Joylyn Everett here with my lovely assistant Bridget for Expert Village in beautiful Malibu, California. We're here to talk about creating your punk style. We've got these cool shoes that you can mark up and design to make your own. You can use colored markers, black markers. Beer cap earrings. You've got to love it. Guitar picks. Very rockin'. Bubble gum punk pin, safety pins, got the stars and the knotted up sides. Very creative. We got a torn up punk band t-shirt. It can be worn with thermal shorts, fishnets. I've got my lovely homemade skirt. It's made with a sweatshirt and a ruffle attached to the bottom. My cool little homemade top with the shiny ribbons. My wristband watch. That's right. Then we've my lovely assistant with her homemade shirt. Got the safety pins. All cut up and pinned back together. The holey fishnets. The holey tights with the fishnets underneath and the cool beaded tie. True punk is making your own punk clothes because you give it your own custom style. You have something that nobody else can have. Use safety pins, patches, studs, spikes. All kinds of different things to customize and create your own punk style."
