"Hi! This Joyce of Major League Trim and I'll be speaking on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment, we're going to be talking about conditioning our client for the last part of his stay here. You want to make sure he's comfortable. Again, you want to rinse his hair. You don't want the water to be too hot or too cold, so you want to check the temperature and rinse him off. I'm rinsing off all the extra hair that he had from the hair cut, and also the texture cream that we put inside his hair. This client in particular, he's more of a natural, so he would prefer to have no product in his hair at all. I'm using American Crew conditioner, and it is for oily hair. It's always good to have some moisture in the hair, but you don't want to over moisturize his hair even though he has an oily scalp. When you're conditioning, you want to comb it through his properly. The point of a conditioner is not to put it on the scalp. You want to just rub it through the top of his hair and use your tips of you fingers to go into the scalp. When you use the conditioner too much on your scalp, you're actually wasting the conditioner. It just lies on the skin and then you rinse it off. It does nothing for the nutritional value of your hair."
