"Hi! This Joyce of Major League Trim on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, we'll be talking about the type of tools that you're going to use on your clients. With every client it's always good to use a new blade if you're going to be using any type of razor. This razor has teeth on it and it'll be different than a straight razor. A straight razor would be an open blade without teeth. It's always best to make sure that you're dealing a professional in these situations. Someone who has taken multiple classes and someone who knows exactly what they're doing. We will use different types of sheers for the type of client you have. With my client now, he has curly hair, so we're going to start him off with a regular sheer. We're going to use it to cut his hair properly. We're going to go from there with the serrated sheer. The serrated sheer also has teeth in it. That's going to help blend his hair without frizzing."
