Picking Brushes for Nail Art

"I'm Judy Franck for Expert Village and we're going to be doing some nail art today. The next thing you want to do is you want to pick your brushes. I like this thing, I just got it and it really comes in handy. It seperates my brushes and it keeps them neat and organized and I can see them all better all at one time. I used to keep them in a bowl and they were in a spot where dust would get in there, but this keeps your brushes clean. You always want to keep your brushes clean because it's hard enough to keep them clean when you're using them all of the time, so this works great. So I've already picked the brushes that I'm going to use for her art. I like this big, rounded one because I can get up to the cuticle better, and put that right closer to her cuticle as I'm dragging the paint down. And these little tiny ones are: this is a double vero. This is a perfect size for tiny nail art, but it's not the smallest. There is a smaller one, and I think this one is a 101, so this one's a little smaller yet. These small ones are great. I think the triple zero is your best if you're going to look for something that's going to be a little bit more detailed, like if you're doing faces or eyes or anything that you really need a small outline with. Now this one is one of my favorites. I like this one, this is a long, pointy one. This one is great for stripes. So if you're going to do stripes this one is kind of wiggly when you get paint on it, but once you get the hang of it, this one is great. This is from a nail supply store and you can't find these nice, thin ones just in the paint store. So these are great. Always have those on hand. Those are going to be your favorite brushes for doing nail art because the surface is very small, you need the smallest ones you can because the bigger the paint brush, the less detail on the nail."
