Hi, my name is Julia and this is my model Kim from Extensions by Julia on behalf of Expert Village. Today we are going to be talking about hair extensions. (So am I allowed to go swimming or go to the beach?) Absolutely, you can do anything you want with your hair extensions. Washing is not a problem, going to the beach, going to the pool, anything that you do to your hair, it should not cause any problems unless you are being too rough, like I explained earlier with the brushing and on flat irons, that is really the only thing that can cause damage to your hair. The one thing that you also want to be concerned about is if you are living in a very hot climate and even a humid climate, there is one thing that you want to know, because this is effected by heat, we actually heat this up to put it in your hair, so you can only imagine if you are applying more heat with a flat iron or just being in an environment where it is very hot, it can actually soften them up and loosen them up. So what you would want to do is if you do live in a hot area, very humid, when you take your shower, before you get out run nice cold water through your hair. It'll actually harden up the bond again, so that way when you get out of the shower and you start your day, they are not sticking to each other. Because if they do that, then it is going to start causing tangling and it is going to be a lot harder for you to comb your hair. (So would you suggest showering in cold water all the time?) No. You can use your regular hot and warm temperatures that you normally use. Just before you get out, just make sure you run that cold water through your hair, just to tighten those up and as you are washing you want to make sure that you put a lot of conditioner in there. Use your fingers to feel through your hair and the reason I create rows is so it is easier for you to feel them so that you can go through your hair, you know where the rows are. You get that conditioner in there, put your fingers through them, make sure they are not sticking to each other and then put that cold water right over your head, it will harden them right back up for you and you should be good to go.
