"Hi! My name is Kara. On behalf of expertvillage.com, today we’ll be talking about how to do a lip wax. Now, we’re ready to do the lip wax. Gently stir your wax and apply a small amount to your hand to test before we apply it to the lip. If it’s not too hot, you’re ready to wax. Gently apply the stick and remove all the excess. Holding the skin taut, we want to apply the wax to just one-half of the lip. Gently move your stick in a downward motion. Place the strip over the wax and press down 2-3 times. Holding the skin taut, gently remove your strip; applying pressure and moving downward. Go over it a second time if you have not gotten all the wax. Now, you’re ready to do the other half. Removing all the excess from your stick, you want to apply it to the other half of the lip, gently moving downward to ensure you apply wax to all the hair. Holding the skin taut, apply your strip and move down 2-3 times. Still holding the skin taut, gently remove the strip making sure you have gotten all of the wax. Do again if needed. Apply slight pressure and move down the lip. The waxing is now complete."
