"Hi! On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Jean Hurley from Siegels Day Spa in Cottonwood, Arizona and we’re giving you tips and techniques today on pinpointing muscle groups. The next part you want to work into is the neck. And simply by rolling your hand over the shoulder, over the triceps and rhomboids. Starting down in here in the triceps, follow these muscles, the levator, into the neck and up to occipital ridge and you can actually feel the fibers of the neck stretch as you do that. That’s perfect starting point in any massage. Simply following the fibers of the neck. It’s a good starting point to release all the tension. Most people here in America feel their tension in their neck and shoulders. It’s the driving, the computers that we do on a day to day basis. The way we carry books, purses on the ladies and a stretch. So following, identifying the spinal column, you can feel the muscles pulled away and stretch as you follow the simple spinal column. You can feel with…I always use the 3 fingers, following the fibers of the rhomboids. Watch them dance, watch the pressure point build and go to the stretch, the stretch point, the starting and ending point, into the bone. "
