Video Transcript

"Hi! On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Jean Hurley from Siegels Day Spa in Cottonwood, Arizona and we are talking today about cranial-sacral release therapy and we on the TMJ decompression hold. Basically with the middle finger, put your finger on TMJ joint, and hold there until you feel the J-hook movement of the cranial-sacral fluid moves about 6 to 8 times per minute and when you feel that, you will grasp the skull and with no pressure of the weight of a dime you are going to slowly pull down towards the table and sort of like, I kind of relate this to an elevator, you are pulling the skull down towards the table with no more pressure than the weight of a dime so you are not physically moving this but you are grasping and pulling towards the basement of an elevator. You just hold this until you feel like you can’t go any farther. It can take 10 minutes or it can take a minute; just your own visualization skills in the elevator grasping the skull, going to the basement floor. "
