"Hi! On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Jean Hurley from Siegels Day Spa in Cottonwood, Arizona and we are working on cranial-sacral release therapy techniques today. This next one is simply called the finger in the ear technique and you take your middle finger and put it over the ear canal; not in, finger above the ear, finger below and sort of a rocking motion where the top finger goes forward and the lower finger comes backward, rocking motion. This hold is great for earaches and curing problems. Some people with Parkinson’s have gotten relief from this. This is a stretch of the ear so you are grasping the skull at the ear canal in a rocking motion where the top finger goes forward and the bottom ear comes back in a grip like motion; feeling that cranial-sacral fluid pulse of its own and holding. It’s great for Tinnitus. Again, everything is great for migraines and headaches, sinus pressure, no more weight than the weight of a dime and that is all the pressure you should be applying to the client’s head. This again can be held 10 minutes or longer at the client’s comfort level. "
