"So just about everybody's heard about Spanx at this point. This is Spanx and Spanx you can find in department stores, boutiques, all over the place, it's become one of the most popular shape wear companies in the country. It's the modern incarnation of the girdle. It's something that goes all the way around your stomach and holds everything in. This style in particular comes all the way up to the bust line, you can hook it to your bra and then it comes all the way down. So you can wear it with a dress, you can wear it with a pant. It has fit built into it, so that you know where it's going to hold things in. For example it has room for your bottom so that it shows definition instead of flattening you out. Different parts of your body that sometimes need shape, well, right here in the mid-section, a lot of women got a little bit of extra going on over here, so this is very helpful to hold that in, also your rear, and then your thigh. All places where we tend to hold a little extra weight. There are also other companies that make tops, that sort of smooth out the top and your bust, and also smooth out your back. "
