"Right now we're going to discuss the band and how it should fit. The most common mistake I see is a band size that is too big. How do you know if your band is too big or too small? Well if you can hook it and it fits snugly around, you're probably in the right size. If you can keep the straps off and it will support itself, then it's a good fit. If it drops, it's too big. Most of the support in your bra comes from the band, not the straps. So this needs to happen for you to get support. So we're going to put the straps on and when you put on your bra, just give it a small tug in the back. You're smaller here than you are up here. So if you're uncomfortable just bring it down a little bit. When it's too big your bra will ride up in the back. Your straps will fall down so the normal reaction is to tighten your straps until they stay on. But all you're really doing is you're bringing this up and it's dropping in the front. So you're not getting any support anymore. Unfortunately, bras are made of elastic and it is going to be snug. You might get a few ridges here. But remember, everybody has those ridges, so I wouldn't be concerned with it. The thing with bras, is that they're made out of elastic and your body is a hundred degrees. So when you heat up, the elastic heats up. And it expands, so when your bra straps riding up in the back, you want to go to the next set of hooks. When you get to the last set of hooks and it starts riding up in the back, it doesn't fit anymore. So that's when it's time to get rid of your bra and find a new one. When you start off in your bra, and you can close it to the tightest hook and you're trying to wear this as an everyday bra, I would recommend going a smaller size in the band. Because when you start on the tightest hook, it's not going to last you very long. And it's just going to keep riding up in the back. "
