"For her eye shadow base, I'm going to use a really sheer, but iridescent kind of pinky, silver eye shadow, and this is really light, so you can really pile this on, and as far as base colors go, that's normally the rule. You really want to pick something that's neutral enough that you can really put on, because the base is really important, I mean it's like drawing on a white piece of paper. It just provides a really nice palette, and your colors will stand out much better, and this color is going to go really well with the pinks that I chose to use on her, as well, so I'm going to take a nice, big brush, and I'm going to go right into her eye with it, so like I said, you can't mess this up at all. You just want to really pile it on, all over the lid, from the lash line, all the way up to under the brow, just all over the eye, and look up. I'm going to take it underneath the eye as well, because anything I do on top, I want to do on the bottom, as well, just to make sure everything is even, and this is going to give a nice highlight also to underneath her eye, and just really blend, blend, blend. Make sure it's all blended in, and add more if you want or you need, so you can see this is a really sheer color. I mean, it's pulling up a little bit of pink, a little bit of silver, but very sheer and iridescent. Look up for me, and so you don't have to worry about putting too much on, and look at the difference already, from one eye to the next, with just putting a little bit of a base color on. It just makes a huge difference."
