"Welcome to my "Don't be afraid of Color" series. Now, we're going to do purples. This show is all about purples. How to do bright purples and lavender and not be afraid to put purple on your eyes. A lot of people are afraid of bright colors, especially colors (such as purple) that tend to be a little more dramatic or may not go with certain skin tones or different colors that you wear in your wardrobe. But, really, you can use...there are so many different types of purples...and you can use them on any skin tone, any nationality, and you may have to coordinate your wardrobe, yes. But you don't have to be afraid to use these colors on your skin. So, what you need to do is need to really just invest in some cool purples. I'm going to use a funky purple, like this. It's got a silver fleck to it. It's pretty cool purple, whereas you can get some warm purples that have brown in them. You can get some pink-y purples, or lavender. There are all different shades of purple that you can use. I'm do a little something more funky with my model, you can do purples for daytime even or plum-y purples that are really, really natural. I'm going to do a little more dramatic with my model just to show you that you can take purples into nighttime, too, and it will look fantastic."
