Applying White Shimmer Eye Shadow

"So now the face is done, basically, as far as skin. So we're going to move on to eyes, which is the fun part, which is what this show is all about. So, since we're doing blues, we want to use all colors on the eyes that kind of go with blues, coordinate with blues or are blue, in general. So, for her base, for the whole entire lid and her highlight, I'm just going to use a white shimmer. And it's a sheer white and it's got a silver shimmer to it, which is a great color to go with any cool colors; blues, purples. So, little by little I'm just going to add this white to the eye. And you really want to concentrate it underneath the brow also because this is going to act as not only a base, but a highlight. And then I'm going to take a little bit of it under the eye as well, so whatever I do on top I want to do a little bit on the bottom; just to make sure everything looks even. Just a little bit, and make sure you blend, blend, blend; it's good to use a nice fluffy brush. Something that has a lot of surface area that can cover a lot of surface area. And you can always clean up afterwards if there's a little spillage. That's not a problem. Just make sure you do a little at a time until you get your desired look. Because if you put on too little you can always add more, if you put on too much it's very hard to take off. And see what a tremendous difference using a base makes to the eye. I mean, this is like working on a clean pallet."
