"So our first step is skin care. Your make up is only going to look as good as your skin underneath it. So you really have to take good care of your skin which means cleansing, moisturizing and you want to do this before you put on your makeup and you want to do it at night after you take your makeup off. So my model has just cleansed her skin so we?re going to start out with moisturizer. Now with moisturizer you want to put it all over the face and even onto the neck, you want to make sure you don't forget you neck. That is part of your face to and the skin is very delicate and it needs moisture as well. For you at home you don't have to use a brush you can use your fingers. Just make sure the skin or your fingers are clean make sure you wash your hands so you don't add access oil to your face. Just make sure you really blend the moisturizer in and make sure it's all absorb and blended in before you start any cosmetics on your face. Make sure you concentrate also around the eye area I'll probably use a separate eye cream as well because I really like eye cream. I don't think you are ever to young to start taking care of your skin. Your eye area is very delicate so just around the eye area you just want to concentrate moisture. My model has very normal skin so I'm just using a regular everyday moisturizer with ESPF. If you are really dried you want to go with a cream and if you are really oily you want to use an oil control moisturizer. You may be even want to skip moisturizer on your T zone if you are very very oily. But you always want to make sure that you are taking care of your skin. So now I'm going to use a separate eye cream and this is one Mac it's called Fast Response, it just kinds of plumps up the eye area. Eye cream is just great to use when you are using a lot of makeup around your eyes. Because makeup especially powder tends to seep into the lines even if you don't have any. All of sudden they just appear and it's scary so make sure that you really take care of your eye area. Not all over the eye just kind of pat around the eye area. Like I said the eye area is very sensitive so you really want to be gentle. Lastly, before I start anything else I'm going to also put a little lip conditioner on her lips. You want to put your lip conditioner on before you start anything. Because about the time you get to the lipstick or gloss that conditioner will have seeped into your skin and your lips will be nice and soft. That is how we do skin care, basic skin care so now we're going to start with the next clip on foundation."
