Applying Eyeliner with Eye Shadow

"I'm going to use this really deep eggplant color as her liner and it's a powder eye shadow but I'm going to wet the brush and I'm use it as if it were a cream or a liquid liner. It's a great cool color to use as an eye liner because it's dark, it's got that vibrant shimmer, and it's just such a deep eggplant that it would look great with the gold. So, I'm just going to dampen my brush a little bit and go right into this. It's an amazing color to use wet, it just goes on so beautifully. You have a lot of control when you are using your brush damp. So, close your eyes. So, you want to just start at the corner and just kind of wing it up just a tiny bit, like a cat's eye. That's just going to accentuate your eye and make it look bigger. Then little by little, you'll want to go down the eye lid getting as close to the eye lashes as you possibly can. Now, at this point you can make the eyeliner as thick or as thin as your want. I'll make it a little bit thicker since we are not doing a black. You know, we can be a little bit more dramatic or a little heavier because it is not so vibrant. It is just a great color and it is very shimmery so it will look awesome with the gold. Open, just keep adding more as you see fit and as I said, get as close to the lash line as possible. You really want to make it a little more of a smoky feel. You don't want it to be such a harsh line so blend it out with a brush and make sure that it's a nice smoky consistency rather than such a hard harsh line. I'm taking a little bit underneath the eye too just to balance everything out. Just a tiny bit underneath the eye just to give some depth. Then, if you drop a little bit it's fine, you just do a little clean up. That is a great eye liner look for gold"
