"Skin care is very, very important. Taking care of your skin making sure it's cleansed and moisturized, especially to prep for makeup makes a huge difference because your makeup is only going to look as good as the skin underneath it. So you really want to take care of your skin. So before you start your makeup you really want to just cleanse. Make sure you get all residue from your other makeup off. We cleansed her face with water and a cleanser. If you don't have water use a makeup remover wipe. Make sure your face is completely clean. Then you want to, after your face is completely clean, you want to moisturize. Her skin is combination so I'm going to use an oil free moisturizer. I'm just going to blend this completely into her skin, and at home you can use your fingertips just make sure your hands are clean, or you can use a brush. It's all personal preference, whatever you feel more comfortable using, and I'm going to blend this around her whole entire face and even down her neck. You don't want to forget the skin around your neck that's also very important. You want that to look nice and fresh and pretty too. So, just continue to blend this moisturizer in, and also concentrate on any dry patches or also around the eye area. You can use a separate eye cream around the eye area or you can just use your moisturizer that you have, and that is completely up to you. She's very young so I don't really feel the need to use a separate eye cream, but if you feel like you want to then that's fine. I really firmly believe in eye creams. You're never really too young to start taking care of your skin either. So really just blend very gently around the eye area and around the whole rest of the face. Just make sure the moisturizer is completely absorbed. Look up. And once it's completely absorbed the last thing you want to do is add some lip conditioner to the lips. Lip conditioner is really important. I mean, once you start using lip gloss and lipsticks and your lips are dry and flaky, it's just going to look horrible. So you really want to condition your lips, and I like to do it right in the beginning so once I get to the lips which is normally the last step, my lips are nice and soft and supple and the conditioner has already absorbed into the skin."
