"Now that the eye shadow is on, we're going to right for eyeliner. We're going to skip a crease because that's not the look we're going for. We're going to go right into eyeliner. Black liquid eyeliner or using a powder as a liquid eyeliner with a brush is the way to go with this. You don't want anything smokey. This is where you want a hard cat's eye line. I like to use powder. I just think it goes on a lot smoother and you have a lot more handle on the brush. I just dampen my brush and go right into my black powder. Just mix it either on your hand or in a Petri dish. Anything. On a piece of Styrofoam. Just go right onto the eye. This is black, so you want to be very careful. You want to go upwards into that cat's eye wing. Very gently and get as close to the lash line as possible. As you get closer and closer to the nose, the line gets thinner and thinner. That's what gives you that really defined cat's eye look. That's a signature look for that old Hollywood starlet. You really want to use black because this is not a natural look. Black really stands out. Just take your time and be patient and really get a nice even line. Look at me. Close. This is where you don't want to blend and make it smokey. You want it to be a really nice even harsh or hard line. Open. There we go."
