"Since my model Erin has great skin, I don't need to use a really heavy duty foundation. Depending on your skin type, pick the foundation that suits you. I'm using a very sheer foundation because she really doesn't need that much coverage. If you do need more coverage or you need some concealing, then that's when you would do this. I'm just using this sheer foundation all over her face and also as a concealer. I'm going to use it around the eye area, maybe around the bridge of the nose. Anywhere where it gets a little red or I just need to balance out her skin tone. She has one tiny little blemish that I'm going to cover. It's right over here. That's just a little spot that we can cover very easily. Other than that, she doesn't have anything to cover. Look up for me. I'm also going to put a little foundation just on the eyelid to kind of get a smoothness around the eye to take away that redness. Then I'm just going to put a little bit around the rest of the face and down the neck. This is a very sheer moisturizer, but the more you add, the more coverage you're going to get. Depending on what your skin is like, depends on how much you use. For her, I put way too much on my hand that I'm ever going to need on her. When you're at home, I do recommend using and not your fingertips. It's really hard to blend with your fingertips foundation. Sponges tend to get kind of streaky and also soak up your product pretty quickly. In order not to waste product and to just a nice smooth look, I recommend using a nice foundation brush. Like I said, use this as a concealer too. Around the eye area, around the nose, wherever you need some concealing. Close for me. On the eyelids. Just get a nice, smooth pallet. See how natural that looks. Now I'm just going to take a little powder. I'm just going to dust it on top of her skin. Not a tremendous amount, but just to smooth everything out, to set the foundation. Not so much around the eye area because like I said, powder tends to seep into the creases of the eye and makes your eyes look kind of creepy and wrinkled. Now we're ready to do some color."
