Tools & Products for an Alicia Keys Makeup Look

"Before you start to attempt this look, you want to make sure you have the right tools and products. You need some good brushes first off. That makes a huge difference, especially when you're applying dark deeper bold colors. You also need to get some cool colors. This look is all about the eyes. The lips, you want to stick with something pretty neutral like a golden nude gloss. Even for the face, the makeup is pretty natural. A natural blush, maybe some face and body shimmer. That would be fabulous because it's a very glowy look. As far as the eyes, you really want to think bold. You'll see Alicia Keys in funky colors like deep forest greens that have a lot of shimmer to them, or a really bronzy that have a lot of glitz and glam to them. Also, a really cool deep eyeliner. I'm going to use a deep dark green that's almost black just to accentuate the green that I'm using. You really want to invest in some awesome eye stuff. Anything glittery and glitzy and that has bold color."
