"Now we're ready for foundation. Like I said earlier, I'm going to use a foundation that has a big of an iridescence to it. It's not a matifying or an oil-free foundation. It's called hyper real. It's a MAC foundation, but you can find these in any other brand as well. It just has a bit of a sheen to it if you put it on your hand. You only need a little bit. You don't want to cake on the face with a ton of foundation. You really want to get the whole face looking glowy. Also, cover any imperfections, which my model doesn't have. You're welcome. If you do, this is the time to cover up and even up the skin tone as well. This is a pretty sheer coverage. However, the more you add, the more coverage you're going to get. You could get this to a full medium coverage if necessary. You don't want to forget the eye area. Use this as you would a concealer. Get right under the eyes to even everything out. You really never want to take powder under the eyes, so it's good to put a little foundation under the eyes. I always put a little foundation on the eye lids as well to kind of give a nice clean pallet for the shadow. Make sure you blend, blend, blend. It should all be blended into the skin. You should not see anything but perfect skin when the foundation is on. Then powder finishes the job. You want to take a nice powder. You can use translucent powder. I like pressed powders versus loose powders. I'm using a pretty sheer pale color that matches her skin tone almost exactly. I'm just king of buffing it over where I put the foundation. You don't want to put too much over the eye area. You do want to make sure you take it down the neck a little bit just to even everything out. Again, same thing, blend, blend, blend. Once you're done putting your powder on, it shouldn't look like you have powder on. Now that her skin looks perfect, we're ready to add some color. "
