"Now that we know what look we're going to do, I want to explain to you what the necessary ingredients are to this recipe so to speak and what makes this different from any other makeup application. First thing is this is dewy, glowy look, so you want to look shiny and glowy. The first thing is you want to use some sort of a foundation that has an iridescence to it. You don't want to use anything matte. I'm going to use a MAC foundation called hyper real, but you can use any kind of dewy iridescent foundation. Secondly, the bronzer. Bronzer is very, very important. You want to use a nice neutral bronzer, but you can use something with a shimmer or sparkle to it would be fantastic also. Blush and highlight. Something again, sheer but with a shimmer to it. This is like a sheer pink. You can do a sheer nude but with a glow to it to give a highlight. Eye shadow is very important. Anything bronzy or champagne. Anything glittery and glowy is going to be very important to this look. Nothing really too flat or matte because that's a totally different type that we're going for. Also, you want to make sure you have a good mascara because the lashes are very important to this. If you've ever seen J.Lo, her lashes are always phenomenal. Then lip-gloss. Again, if you've ever seen J.Lo, she's always got that lip gloss on. That really glowy, dewy lip look and never even using lip liner. She always uses neutral glosses, neutral pinks, browns, and nudes. Those are the basics of this look. Again, we're going to do all the other things you do for any other makeup application as far as the eyebrows and powder and such. Those are the basics that you need to get that bronze, dewy, glowy look."
