"Now that we've prepped the skin, we're going to move on to the foundation. Again, for this look you want to have a nice matt finish to your skin. You don't want any foundation that has glow, glitter, or anything doey or glowy. You want your skin to look really mattified. I'm using a very sheer matt foundation. Again, if you have nice skin you don't need to have a full face of foundation. You just want to neutralize your skin tone, blend, balance everything, and cover where you need. Under the eyes a little bit, maybe around the nose. You want everything to just look even and sheer. My model has really nice skin, so I don't have a lot to cover, but if you had a few blemishes here or there you could just use a little concealer and cover that up. I am going to use a little foundation on her eyelids because her eyelids are a little red. We want a nice blank canvas for our eye shadow as well, because that's important. The eyes are the whole part of this look. Look up for me. Once you have a sheer coat of foundation on, you just want to dust your face with powder. Again, this is to keep it matt and oil free. You want to dust your powder basically all over your face, wherever you put your foundation. Onto the neck a little bit. You don't want to put too much around the eyes, just a little bit. Too much powder around the eyes can get cakey and greasy. Just blend, blend, blend. Make everything look smooth."
