"Now we're moving on to using the crease color which can be a little difficult for someone who has never used a dark color in the crease or a crease brush. I am doing a very neutral, smoky eye on my model which is what a lot of brides like. They want to have something a little bit more dramatic, but they want to still look like them. So when you're choosing your crease color, you want to choose something darker, but you don't want to do black or dark blue or dark purple or anything that is too dramatic. You want to choose something that's neutral. So I'm using a dark plumy brown or like a charcoal brown which is going to going to go great with the other two colors that I chose, the champagne color and then the kind of rosy plum for the lid. And because her eyes are like a blue green, they are going to really pop when you're using anything that has a plumy undertone to it. But brown eyes can also use this too. It's a great color for brown eyes as well. So my crease brush is kind of longer and fluffy. Any makeup store has a crease brush. The way you use this brush is you just basically dip it, the top of it, into the color, a little at a time. You kind of want to tap your brush a little bit to get the excess off and you want to go right into the crease of the eye. The crease of the eye is like a sideways V. You basically want to draw a V and fill it in. And you can go a little bit into the center of the eye but not too much. You kind of want to keep the darker color toward the end of the eye. It gives that cat's eye look. It makes your eyes look a little bigger. And that's the basis of the smoky eye. And add more and more depending on what you like. And then you can clean up afterwards. A little bit is always going to dust off, but don't stress about it. You can always take a brush and clean that up."
