"Now that we have the skin care on, we're going to start with the foundation. The 80s inspired look was definitely more of a matte face. It wasn't that dewy, glowy, J.Lo look. That was very 90s and even to now, but the 80s look was very matte. Everyone wore very matte foundations and not a lot of iridescence on the face. Not a lot of sparkle. Sparkle was on the eyes and lips, but not too much on the face. What I'm going to do is I'm going to use just a concealer in spots, and then I'm going to use a powder foundation. That's going to give a really nice matte look. If you have a drier skin type, you might want to invest in a matte liquid foundation. They make a ton of them. I'm going to use a powder however. If your very dry, powder might not be good for your skin. It might be a little too dry. Anyhow, I'm taking the concealer and I'm just going in spots. Tina has beautiful skin, so I really don't need to apply it all over the face. I'm just going to put it under the eyes, around the nose where there's broken blood vessels, and just in a few little spots that need a little extra oomph. The chin where it's a little red. You know where you need the little extra as far as concealer goes. Once that's on, you want to take your powder with a brush and really pile it on. They didn't skimp out on the makeup in the 80s. It was definitely like let's break into mom's makeup kit and put on as much as possibly can kind of look. Really buff that into the skin. Again, you don't want to see that you have a ton of makeup on. You want to buff it, but you want your skin to look completely flawless. Stay away from too much powder around the eyes as well because that kind of seeps into the creases. Open. Then once your powder is on, we can move on to the color. "
