"The first thing we're going to do, the first thing I always do to start out any makeup application is skincare. Make sure your face is completely cleansed. Tina actually just cleansed with cleanser and water in the bathroom, so she got everything off. If you don't have water, use a baby wipe, a makeup remover. Just make sure you get all the makeup off your face before you start. You want to start fresh. I'm using hydrating moisturizer because Tina has drier skin type. You want to put that all over the skin blending it in really well. Don't skip any part of the face. You can use your fingers. I'm using a brush, but you at home can use your fingertips. Just make sure your hands are clean. Don't neglect the neck. Always make sure you moisturize down the neck as well. That's a very important part of your face. Just make sure it's all blended in. You can use a more concentrated amount in certain parts that you think that are drier if you're feeling dry on your chin, your forehead, or your nose. Then once the moisturizer is in, I always like using an eye cream, especially when I'm doing a dramatic eye makeup look. It just helps the eye makeup go on a lot smoother. It's just a nice little thing to use around the eyes. Your eyes tend to age faster than the rest of your face, so you really want to take care of them. You just want to kind of go around the eye. You don't want to go on top of the eye. You just want to go around the eye and just make sure everything is hydrated around the eye area. Then lastly, lip moisturizer. In the winter months, it's very important to use lip moisturizer. Right? You were complaining that your lips are very chapped. Use lip moisturizer constantly. Use it before you go to bed, use it after you get out of the shower. Put it on before you start applying your makeup. By the time you get to your lips, it would have all soaked in and then you lips would be nice and supple. "
