"Hello this is Heather for Expert Village. I'm going to go in and this time we're going to do a little shading on leaves or petals instead of the dot and pull design. When you do shading, it's just by taking the line that's already there and just pulling it little bit by bit towards you and kind of smushing the henna around. You might add a little bit extra henna so that you have something to work with and mostly you're just spreading it. What happens is where the henna is less thick it actually comes on a little lighter. So although this is almost pretty much the same color right now, you'll be able to see difference in the color when it develops and the paste comes off. Now the lotus itself is done."
