"Hi! I’m Hollie Olson on behalf of Expert Village. Just to give you an overview on ultrasound. What this is doing is it’s a low vibration, which helps the body to penetrate cream as well as increase blood flow. I’m going to demonstrate that you can see a vibration on the head or the thermal unit of the machine. This is the frequency that you’re getting; it’s usually 3 megahertz to get some nice superficial penetration. Thermally, the ultrasound waves may cause local tissues to heat up about 40-45 degrees, and internally it increases the blood flow and perhaps directly stimulating fiberglass activity, resulting in collagen production. One of the things you’ll find with ultrasound is it feels good. It’s not a painful treatment, in fact, you’ll want to get them all the time because it’s like getting a nice warm massage. "
