Series Summary

Hundreds of thousands of people get facials every year. A facial is a treatment done on the face to remove dead skin cells and blemishes including pimples and black and white heads that otherwise are very difficult to remove. There are several different types of facials. Depending upon the person's preference and skin type certain facials are more effective than others and are more enjoyable as well. Facials deep clean the pores of the face by using a variety of options including steam, creams, lotions, masks, peels and many others. Interesting enough one of the worst things you can wash your face with is regular soap because it contains thickening agents that can clog pores.

This particular video series covers the relatively newer procedure of using ultrasound as a facial agent. It explains how it works and gives a few tips on how to perform it yourself if you have the correct equipment. This series will walk you through each step from cleaning the skin before the exfoliation to ultrasound's use on other parts of the body such as the thighs and other areas. Take a look at these videos and see if ultrasonic facials might be for you!

"Hi! I’m Hollie Olson on behalf of Expert Village. I’m going to talk about ultrasonic facials. Ultrasonic dermabrasions and ultrasound facials are becoming all the rage, and for good reason, they’re very, very good treatments for your skin. Ultrasonic machines can be majorly professional, but you can find some home units, although you do get what you pay for. Most people will not take the time to spend thousands of dollars on a proper machine. However, if you do find a home used for a couple of hundred dollars for ultrasonic, you can still get good benefits from it. "
