"I'm Holly Olson on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to talk about a hard wax and I like a strip wax or a soft wax where you glide it on the skin and use like a paper to pull it back off. Hard wax actually comes off on its own. It does take a little longer to use; however some people find that if they have real sensitive skin the hard wax doesn't hurt them as much because it has less contact with the skin. It only kind of sits and floats on top of the hair. You apply the hard wax the same way you do soft wax which is going down along with the growth of the hair in the same pattern and waiting for it to set and get tacky, you hold the strip itself off. Hard wax needs to be a consistency that doesn't fall off the stick and it is very important that you have the right consistency for hard wax. If it is dripping, it is way too soft or if you can't get it on with a spatula, it is way too hard. You do have to sample your garner to make sure you find that right consistency. We are going to wait for this one to set up and we are just going to give it a tug and pull it right off. "
