"Hi! This is Hollie and on behalf of Expert Village we’re going to discuss doing mascara. Mascara is one of the tricky ones you can either end up with a lot of clumps or gorgeous lashes, so I’m going to give you some tips for that. Always use a good quality mascara waterproof or regular your choice, go ahead and close your eyes and you’re going to start by sweeping upward on the lashes so you work your way across in your upper sweeps…and you’ll see me smudge probably but I have a great trick for getting rid of smudges where it doesn’t mess up your foundation so I’ll show you that trick too. You can run the brush vertically as well as down on top a little bit and extend those lashes out...when you’re doing your own lashes always hold your eye very tight careful not to poke yourself get them lashes. When doing your eyes on the bottom you want to open your eyes, look up and start using the brush by vertical and this would just get those lashes out so you can get working with them especially if you have shorter bottom lashes, a little bit of a vertical you can actually pull them down so you can work with them first and then be able to do more of your horizontal stroke downward and sweep downward. A little trick for getting rid of these smidges that foundation sponge that we were using twist a q-tip into it and you can use it like an eraser without messing up any of your foundation it works great."
