"Hi! This is Hollie on behalf of Expert Village we’re going to discuss doing eye shadow. The eyes are great attention for the face so we’re going to start by using a brush and thinking about what colors we want to use on the eye. First you’d always use your neutral shade across the lid, a deeper shade would go in the crease of your eye and in the highlight area would be like your lighter shade like a lighter pink. For my model today we’re going to just do some neutral colors using some nice taupe and browns and always sweep from the corner of the eye outward and what you’ll find using a brush rather than a sponge tip applicator is you’ll get a nicer blend on the eyelid there, always take out that extra I tend to blow on the brush, you can also tap it on something and just blend it across. And for that darker color same shade line I’m just going to go a step darker and just go into that crease of the eye…when you shadow it can go pretty quick you’re just brushing it on, if you have small eyes a good trick to remember is to make sure that you do more of a light shade and you may want to avoid the crease color cause if you do a little too dark in the crease on smaller eyes you actually make the eyes look smaller, stay with your lighter colors. For her eye color we’re going to go up to a pink and just bring that up under the brawl and I’ll show you a great trick for overall blending, I’m just going to throw some color on these eyelids and use a brush that you normally use for blush when you do your eye shadow and just give them a real sweep just like you’re sweeping the floor and there you’ll have nice blended eye shadow."
