Setting Curls for Curly Hairstyling

"So now that we have finished that section, what we are going to do is get a final light spray as we let it set. Once again we will spray it away from the client's face. So give a very light spray, have the client close their eyes. Light spray and go on to your next section. The reason why we are letting that set because when its hot its not going to set as well as if its has cooled down, and cooled to the touch. So we are going to go on to our next section, sub sections and clip away the large section, combing through the ends, grabbing your curling iron. On the top section we are going to curl away from the face, remember a half to a quarter inch. Three seconds then roll the section down, as we are doing this the other section we did is cooling so just keep touching it you will feel the difference in the curl. Go back a half inch away, curl hold for three seconds. Doing slightly bigger curls than on the side it will give it more volume and look more natural. Pin that and check your curls these should be cooling down. Pick another section about one inch drop the section out of the way, on the top of the head you can take larger sections, spray away from the clients face, once half inch away curl for three seconds, careful not to burn your fingers. Rolling that down and taking the smaller pin and pinning that, checking your curls. You don't have to worry about the little fly always because once we get into the finishing phase we will be cleaning that up. Get the last section comb through that spray away from the face, just a slight mist, you don't want to get it "crunchy". Curl away from the face, hold for three seconds, always go away from the face, you do not want to burn your client's face. Last one you are going to pin, check your first section to see it is cool."
