"Our next step in our color application is going to be sectioning your hair. Now when doing this yourself the best thing that I suggest is to section it in 4 sections. What you want to do is using a wide tooth comb that has a rat tail on the end is even better. You are going to want to section it away from your face cause you don't want to poke your eyes. So what you are going to do is take it from the center and back. Take it from the top of your head to the top of the ear. Section that away. Then what you are going to do is clip it with one of our larger clips. Take it from the top of the head down to the base of the neck. We would separate that and that is going to be our next section. Then we would take it to the top to the top of the ear. That would be our next section and our last section would be left there for you. Clip that away and these are going to be our four sections that we are going to get into so why don't we go ahead and go to our next step. "
